About camping in a Natural reserve in Colombia
A Natural reserve is a place with many restrictions. It is a great place for soft camping.
The weather conditions when I was there was rainy and windy and was pretty difficult to start the fire but with a stove of bricks, what I found around, was possible to achieve the fire.
For meals, I brought some dry food, peanuts and tea for quick and easy preparation. It's the way to save time to enjoy!
To past the night, I build a tarp tent with no sticks, 'cause I didn't have any, to avoid the cold winds at night, but I think, it had be more easy for soft camping with a tent and not a tarp :v.
In the natural reserve is prohibited bring cutting tools, but you can carry with a portable stove and some fuel for it.
This was an experimental travel and here are the conclusions.
- Soft camping is perfect to take a breath of the city with some of the commodities of the modern life.
- Make this type of camping could be better with friends to enjoy the time together.
- If you want to cook, it's better bring dry food and meat and some vegetables to cook on the campfire.
- Camp in the reserve is not free but it not expensive either.
Here I share other pictures I take in the park close to the camping zone.
